F1 in Schools
F1 in Schools is the only global multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of students aged 9 to 19 deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyse, manufacture, test, and then race miniature compressed air powered balsa wood F1 cars.
The Process
How this car became a reality?
Research
We first examined many designs and looked at factors affecting a car's design.
Design
Considering all the physical values, we designed the basis of our car on paper.
The making of the Car
With the basis of our design in mind, we set out to create the fastest car around.
Testing
When the design was ready in Fusion 360, the model was tested in Virtual Wind Tunnels to check the physical values and make further tweaks.
